I'm writing you from down South in Texas, Baffin Bay to be exact. The fine
folks at
Baffin Bay Rod and Gun
have been hosting me and the crew this week and let me tell y'all . . . this
is a great place to be. Capt. Sally and Capt. Aubrey Black own the
Baffin Bay Rod and Gun
and they do it up right. We're sort of in between them building their new
lodge right now, but the hospitality and fishing has been second to none.
Can't wait to show y'all in the episodes we are shooting for 2016. We've got
one episode under our belts, nice trout show, caught 'em on the
Mogan Mirrolure
topwater lures, and now I'm working on episode #2 today.
I'm heading to Brownsville on Saturday to open the newest
Dick's Sporting Goods
store there. So far, I'm pretty blown away at the response we've been
getting on the
Facebook event page
for this opening. Over 200 people have confirmed they are attending the
event, and I really can't wait to meet y'all! Texas always comes out BIG for
our visits (last time we were in Corpus Christi), so I guess when they say
"everything's bigger in Texas" they ain't joking! I'm at the
Dick's
store on Saturday the 17th from 3:00 p.m. - 8 p.m. CT and then on Sunday
from 11:00 a.m. - 4 p.m. CT Make sure you come by to see the new store and
check out my new Skeeter SX210 bay boat on display. It's going to be a
hoot!
