The name is Crevalle, Jack Crevalle. The mission is to collect top secret intel from ICAST and appropriately distribute it amongst the operatives in the Mogan Militia. A secret meeting took place just a few days ago aboard the S.S Greenthumb to discuss the future of our organization. The Mogan Man carried out his mission to travel to Anna Maria’s Island and meet with the Silver King. We must be careful! Two new networks are on to us and are spreading the Addiction. This is your weekly report of all things AF and some things that aren’t.
Once again, we would like to welcome those of you just tuning in. The Sportsman Channel and World Fishing Network are sending out the AF signal just fine! Many new viewers tuned in last week to witness the Mogan Man catching his first flats permit on the fly. This week, Capt. Blair heads to Texas to put his new rod through the Mogan Man stress test as he ties into some red snapper and big jacks. Enjoy the show!
The 2009 season of AF is officially under construction! Capt. Blair shot a show near the mouth of Tampa Bay last week with Capt. Billy Harris. Blair was introduced to the King of Tampa and then traveled the Skyway in search of snappers. It may sound like a fairytale but it’s just another day in the life of the Mogan Man.
The AF Crew is Vegas bound this week. The International Convention of Allied Sportfishing Trades (ICAST) is the world’s largest sportfishing trade show held in Vegas annually. This is the show where everybody shows off the newest gizmos, gadgets and other stuff. We are especially excited about this year’s show! AF is booked all 3 days for meetings with some of the biggest names in the industry! What happens in Vegas won’t stay in Vegas this time. Stay tuned for a full report coming soon!
I have got to be the luckiest fish in the bowl! The boss called to say that we must go fishing. Who am I to argue with the boss? It wasn’t like being nabbed at the dock, held at hook point and being forced to take ‘em to all the favorite fishing holes but it was just as fun! Mr. Producerman fired up the E-tec and the green Bay Ranger scooted across the water matching the speeds of the vehicles on the bridge beside us. After visiting a few non-productive areas, the boss man “suggested” we visit my honey hole. I didn’t quite hear the suggestion but I heard the words “or else” and “lizardfish”. Nothing good ever happens when those words are used in the same sentence. Lucky for me, a school of fish came through and Kevin & Patrice had a double hookup! They both landed the first reds to be caught on the new boat! Fishing Fridays rock!
Shaken and stirred,
J.C.
