I tried to yank the line free when suddenly my reel started to de-spool. He was a fighter, in fact he swallowed the bait and hook ito his stomach so he died by the time I had reeled him in. It was a 15 minute (at least) duo. |

| My Friend Clark and I decided to go fishing the night before. The next morning, around 8:30am, we were already in the boat looking for mullet we caught some and started fishing for snook by the grand cannal. We were in about a foot of water. Then I tied on a topwater chugger. I saw the snook come out of the water and chase some mullet then first cast got him to chase it, and got the snook into the boat. The snook was 28in. and released him. Then we traveled over to the side of Patrick Air Force Base and we fished in front of the canal that leads to the base. We cut some mullet up and casted it out. We had a bite and we set the hook. It was the redfish. He weighed about 32lbs. Then we released him. |
